DescriptionCircular medal of Charles X, king of France (1824-1830), commemorating his coronation.

Obverse: Profile bust of Charles X looking to proper left, wearing crown; inscribed at edge "CAROLUS·X·REX CHRISTIANISSIMUS" and under bust "DE PUYMAURIN [ ]R E.GATTEAUX".

Reverse: Kneeling king at center before a bishop standing at proper left giving him a blessing with four men behind at proper right and three men behind at proper left; inscribed above "REX·CAROLVS·COELESTI·OLEO·VNCTVS", at proper left "[ ]ULIUS F" and in exergue "ADSTANTIBVS·FRANCIAE·PARIBVS/REGIONVMQUE·DELECTIS·SVMMIS·LEGVM/ADMINISTRIS·EXERCIT·PROCERIBVS/GENTIVM·EXTERAE·LEGATIS/REMIS·XXIX·MAII/MDCCCXXV".
