DescriptionChasuble. Orphrey, front and back, and band around neck opening with design of vertically meandering stalks having a repeating round blossom in gold colored metallic yarns and metal strips on a gray silk ground powdered with a repeating dot motif. Side panels and shoulder straps, front and back, three petal blossoms on slim curved stalks repeating in a vertical meander. Silver colored metallic yarns and metal strips on a gray silk ground with horizontally undulating lines. Orphreys and neck band defined by, and borders edged with, silver metallic yarn tape. Badly worn; some edges frayed; soiled. Glazed linen lining.
