DescriptionChasuble. Sides, a speckled, pomegranate motif above a stylized symmetrical leaf spray repeating in dense staggered rows within connecting diamond-shaped compartments formed by speckled bands which meet in lozenge motifs above, below, and flanking the main motif; yellow silk damask. Orphries, symmetrical palmate leaf sprays and simplified pomegranate designs repeating within an ogival compartments formed by curling dotted stalks bearing similar palmate leaves; cut and uncut (cisele) green silk velvet. Slightly worn, some stains.
