DescriptionStrung glass beads (sablé) held together with looping stitches. Polychrome design on white ground: two coats of arms flanked by 2 angels holding standards under canopy, vegetative border (obv.); woman in early 18th century costume seated at dressing table (rev.). Large hinged gold frame with classical motifs, stud closure, chain with hook (6 marks in frame, 3 in hook). Two interior compartments lined in salmon silk.
