DescriptionChest cover (yutan) constructed of five panels sewn together to form a box with overall design of hexagon lozenge pattern (kikko-mon) surrounding Chinese flowers (karahana) in white, yellow, orange, green and blue silk discontinuous supplementary patterning wefts on a reddish-orange silk twill ground. At the center of each panel is a large peony and leaf motif in white silk discontinuous supplementary patterning wefts. Used with 21.247
