In graphite on back of top drawer: "Edes 62 Buckingham St / 1 Drawer 1 Box"
Chalk marks on back of drawers, from top to bottom, 4, 5, 6, and 7, each with acocmpanying inverted V and X.
In chalk on bottom of case in old script: "Boston" and "Mr. [?] Monto [?] Sr. [?]."
