Child’s dress in woven striped cotton with tan ground and narrow stripes alternating white and dark purple; low, round neckline with drawstring closure at back; back button closure; wide flaring collar which is split at shoulders and trimmed with off-white braid; yolk trimmed with off-white braid and ten decorative buttons; short puffed sleeves; high waist with braid trim; bodice pleated in back at neck and waistband; skirt fuller at back with single tuck above hem; buttons covered with white cotton thread laced into at pattern at center (unknown core material)
