Made for Professor Fowler, of sheer white cotton, square cut neck, very short puffed sleeves, ruffled cape over sleeves running from waist line front to waist line back, peplum at waist line, two panels down skirt front of alternating bands of gathered self material and eylet embroidery, same ornament in center front of bodice, very narrow eyelet embroidery arond neck, around all other edges, except for bottom of skirt, a wide ruffle of eyelet embroidery in wheel design, five tucks above hem of skirt.
