DescriptionChristening gown and sash. Gown: white silk organdy bodice lined with white silk; band of lace threaded with two ribbons encircles upper edge; 3 small ribbon rosettes attached to lace on front. Organdy cap sleeves with ribbons with tassels. Organdy overskirt with center panel of inset ruffled organdy, each band separated by threaded ribbon; inset surrounded by vertical scallops of lace with ribbon rosettes. White silk underskirt. Back closure with three small silk covered buttons. Sash: two broad white silk satin ribbons, upper edges pleated into waistband; additional front panel with 3 horizontal pleats; lattice patterned knotted silk fringe on lower edge; hook and eye closure. Worn by Prince Constantin Belosselsky-Belozersky.
