This three dimensional brooch is decorated with faceted glass stones of various colors prong-set in white metal. The “tree” portion is composed of six marquis-shaped forms each consisting of a large transparent green stone surrounded by two rows of transparent round green gems. The forms are have a triangular arrangement with one at the top, two in the middle, and three at the bottom to resemble the shape of Christmas tree. Standing on the top of the tree jutting out from a curved heavy wire is a star composed of five clear diamond shape stones. Also raised by wires in front of the “tree” is an element composed of three “candles.” Each is made from a purplish table cut stone representing the candle, surmounted by large yellow stone in the shape of a flame, surrounded by a halo of small round yellow stones. The base, attached by a curved wire on level behind the tree is made by a large red trapazoidal stone set in row of white square and round stones. Around the edge of the tree and in the center of the candles are nine round red stones imitating Christmas ornaments.
