DescriptionCircular dish with brass inlaid with tortoiseshell in the "Boulle" technique, with stylized flowers and acanthus scrolls around the rim. The center includes a rectangular recess for pens flanked by two circular wells for cut-glass ink bottles with brass lids inlaid with six-petaled flowers.
