Octagonal pear-shaped body, an octagonal domed cover and ball finial, and a double reverse scroll handle. Decorated on one side with two plump quail and a flowering prunus tree and on the other with a flowering Kikyo shrub, al of which are painted in iron red, blue, turquoise, and gold. Rim of the lid and the heart-shaped opening of the spout are painted brown.
