Part of a Coffee Service (65.2076a-b - 65.2080). Pear-shaped coffeepot has an S-shaped gently curving spout with a heart-shaped opening, and a domed cover surmounted by a bell-shaped finial. Painted with chinoiserie figures depicting the brewing and drinking of tea or coffee or the smoking of pipes.
