Obverse: Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus facing right toward draped Julia Domna facing left.
Inscription in Greek.
Reverse: Ariadne reclining left in rocky cavern, right hand on head, left on rocks. At left, maenad gazing down, gesturing with thyrsos in right hand. Behind, satyr or Dionysos gesturing with left hand, pedum in right hand.
