The stone is fine-grained, wavy-lined, and brown-veined. It was drilled with a borer. The base is flat, and the rim is flattened and everted. It is broken and mended. Fragments are missing.

From Zawyet el-Aryan. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
