The stone is black and gray. The base is flat, and the rim is plain. It is broken and mended. One small rim fragment is separated from the rest of the bowl. Over half of the bowl is missing.

From Zawyet el-Aryan, Z 500. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
