DescriptionThe stone is colored white and gray and speckled with black. It is fine-grained. It is shallow and heavy. The base is rounded, and the rim is plain. It is broken and mended. Fragments are missing.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Menkaura Valley Temple, Giza. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
