DescriptionThis is a rectilinear fragment of a statuette with two worked surfaces forming a corner. The stone is black granodiorite with small evenly distributed white and black biotite inclusions (may be diorite). GD3. See related shape and stone of Eg.Ing. 3051.
ProvenanceFrom Nubia (Sudan), Kerma, K III 4(1). 1914: Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
