DescriptionCourtier's fan (Komori). Painted paper leaf. Reversible design of green bamboo trees, blue clouds, red outline at botton against gold background. Bamboo sticks with indentured guards to give fan partially open appearance; carved motif on guards. Condition: leaf unglued from one guard.
