Narrow rectangular field– a man blowing a horn stands atop a building with symmetrically protuding branches. On either side is a ship with three masts, three men on deck and one aloft holding a flag. All highly stylized floral medallions with in connecting compartments and floral sprays in vases within the interstices. At either end four similar but larger sprays and scalloped edges. Short fringe border added. Polycrhome silk, white cotton and metallic yarns on a white cotton gauze weave ground. Condition good.
