Made from veil fragments(?). Twelve rectangular bands decorated with highly stylized repeating motives of rams’ horns flanked by cypress trees(?) and other designs. Polychrome silk yarns in tent stitch on a tan cotton gauze ground. The bands are separated into four groups of three. Each group has a common ground divided into bands by narrow strips of drawnwork in white silk yarns. Mounted on and bordered by green cotton with silk and metallic yarn tape; modern. The dyes of one group have run.
