White linen ground with large scale circular border design of serpentine stems bearing poppies and decorative foliage; worked with linen threads in white and three shades of blue in oriental, stem, feather, button-hole and lattice stitches. Embroidered by members of the Society of Blue and White Needlework. Marks: “D” in spinning wheel.
