DescriptionGround: linen, twill weave. Design: two oval armorial shields in center surmounted by coronet with ciphers in corners also surmounted by coronets, scattering of rococo flowers, drawn-work ground. Borders: rococo pattern on twill linen ground. Worked with white and cream colored linen in satin knot stitch, etc. The date 1711 in faded pink cross stitch at bottom. Stained. Two black and two blue beads between shields in center.
