Dark blue ground. Elliptical with slight indentations at sides and ends. Flat bottomed tureen has curved sides and flat shell handles, gilded. Domed cover (chipped) with bud and leaf finial, has hole for ladle. Rounded handle tip, floral drop (gilded) on shallow circular bowl. Tray has rather wide deep rim. All rims have finely scalloped gilding. Oval in tray and on sides of tureen and cover outlined in elaborate gilding has flowers in natural colors.

Markings

Crescent mark on bottom of tray and tureen.
