DescriptionJacquard weave: double cloth. Warp: white cotton. Weft: red wool. Central floral medallion on a field of imitation "sawtooth" patchwork designs and top and side floral borders woven in red wool on white cotton ground. Inscribed in lower left corner: "Rosa A. Mosser", forebearer of the donor (see file for more genealogical information). Similar pattern, see: Heirlooms from Old Looms, 1955, p. 371. Fair condition.
