the squat pear-shaped jug is raised from sheet and rests on a broad splayed foot. A high reeded handle is joined to the rim, which has a broad pouring lip.
Engraved on front in monogram, EEHD
Under foot, maker's mark AP (Grimwade 78); sovereign's head, date letter r; leopard's head crowned; lion passant.
