Dark red clay with black surface. Shoulder fluted in diagonal lines. The vertical mouth is slightly concave. The handle is vertical with a bisected opening.
By 1888: with Alessandro Fausti (said to be from a tomb on the slope of Monte Cucco); purchased by R. Lanciani from Alessandro Fausti; purchased by MFA from R. Lanciani, 1888, for $493.92 (this figure is the total price of MFA 88.538–88.644 and 89.9–89.31)
