DescriptionThis slender cup (or miniature beaker) is fashioned of a buff-colored clay. It has a rounded base with slightly expanding sides that end at a wide mouth with thin, straight rim. Walls are thin. It was once in fragments but has been mended. Some very small fragments are missing.
ProvenanceFrom el-Kurru, grave 72. 1919: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of the Sudan.
