DescriptionThis slender cup has a rounded base and sides that narrow towards the top. The rim is straight. The exterior is treated with a red wash that has dripped into the interior in some areas. It is broken but has been mended, and some portions are missing.
ProvenanceFrom Nuri, Pyramid 7 (tomb of a Karkamani), NW foundation deposit. 1917-1918: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
