DescriptionThis cup has a rounded base, straight sides that narrow towards the top, and a straight, unworked rim. The exterior is treated with a red wash. It is broken with some pieces missing; some pieces remain separately.
ProvenanceFrom Nuri, Pyramid 30 (tomb of a queen?), SW foundation deposit. 1917-1918: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
