The decoration of the cup uses blue lines to delimit areas and fine black lines to outline designs within them. It is painted in a single register, with serrated, pointed “cone” medallions in yellow and green, filled with a black and red scale and dot pattern and surrounded by a row of red dots. These alternate with simple vertical green stems, each with three pairs of simple yellow leaves. Inside the cup is a blue rim line and a small floral spray at the bottom.
