Fine drab ware cup, tall, wide neck, rounded base. Brown painted decoration. Scale pattern on neck, six petaled flowers on body; eight petaled flowers on lower body. Perfect condition.
From Meroe, Beg. W 308. 1923: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
