Curtain made of two widths of material; silk compund satin; dyed rose-red; design of be-ribboned poodles dancing on scrolls, Vulcan at forge, sea horse and fountain,swags, trophies of war, caduceus, etc.; border sewed on all four sedes; rinceau with serpents and caryatids on sides; in each corner a lion’s head; condition faded especially on outside edges; left edge worn; several holes.
