DescriptionCream colored silk, embroidered in couched gilt yarns and polychrome silks, mostly long and short stitch, some knot stitch. Design includes 16 scenes, some more elaborate than others, each with a green area for a base and with animals, both real and fantastic, plants and fruits, architectural elements, putti and human figures. Isolated flower and insect motifs are scattered in the surrounding spaces. Green and gold band of short loop fringe on all sides. Good condition.
