Red silk, the design is brought out by the contrast of weaves. Twisting acanthus leaves make a framework which encloses symmetrical, composite forms of leaves and flowers? Two breadths and a half have been sewed together, edged with a fringe of little tassels and lined with linen to make a curtain.
