The top of a curved staff, made from a light-colored wood. The shaft has been stripped of its bark, is smoothed, and undecorated. The staff’s top end is squared off, and exhibits no signs of wear. The bottom of the stick is broken and not preserved.

From Sheikh Farag (tomb SF5209), Egypt; 1923: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
