DescriptionNatural linen tabby-woven ground, embroidered with heavy floss silks in cross, running and binding stitches. Each face shows a border of two rows of alternating dark red and blue-green leaf forms set at an angle, with details of the opposite color. Red and green star or rosette in center. Narrow border lines of same colors; seams formed of openwork stitches. Linen stamped with mark on both faces. Stained and patched; some green silks replaced. Linen browned.
