Cushion for infant, possibly for figure of Christ Child. Upper side covered with red satin, with part left plain for infant’s head. Around this a conventional floral design worked with metal thread, pearls and spangles and edged with gold bobbin lace. Blue and gold acorns at each corner. Lower side covered with thin red silk. To be used with 38.1278. Coll. Achille Jubinal No. 153. “Bonnet d’enfant-Jesus satin rouge et coussin de tete.”
