Limestone, partly blackened by heat. Mythological scene. A seated deity wearing a fleece robe holds a rope attached to a “winged-gate” placed on a recumbent bull which faces the deity. A standing bearded figure in a long pleated robe holds a rope extending from the other side of the “winged-gate.” Behind this figure appears a similar one, with hands folded on chest. Probably the scene represents an episode of some myth of the Akkadian period which is now lost to us.
