DescriptionThe stone is fine-grained and wavy-lined. It was drilled with a borer. The base is flat, and the rim is rolled and everted. It is broken into one large fragment and one smaller fragment. It is broken and mended. Fragments are missing.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Menkaura (Mycerinus) Valley Temple, Giza. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
