DescriptionThe stone from which this cylindrical beaker was made has brown and white horizontal bands that complement the vessel's shape. The base is flat, and the rim is rolled and everted. the vessel is complete and in excellent condition.
ProvenanceFrom Abydos, S630. 1911: excavated by William Matthew Flinders Petrie for the Egypt Exploration Fund, assigned to the Egypt Exploration Fund in the division of finds by the government of Egypt, received by the MFA through subscription to the Egypt Exploration Fund.
