DescriptionThe stone is fine-grained with a large band of opaque white. The rim is flattened and everted. It is broken and mended. Only the upper body and rim remain.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Menkaura (Mycerinus) Valley Temple, Giza. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
