DescriptionSingle skin leaf. Obverse: two bands of painted chinoiserie motifs, pastoral scenes and painted lace separated by band of découpé (cut) lace-like pattern; gilt details; narrow gilt binding at top. Reverse: pastoral scene, narrow gilt binding. Twenty carved and pierced ivory sticks; painted lace and chinoiserie motifs on some blades, other blades and guards pierced chioiserie motifs. Diamond paste studs in rivet.
