DescriptionBlack (burned? polished?) wide mouth pot with large rim section missing; burn markings and areas of exposure damage; rim edge is hatched and a repeating design is incised around the upper body. There is a bored hole near one broken edge, probably for repair.
ProvenanceFrom Koshtamna (ASN89/614/1). 1909. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government.
