DescriptionGround: white linen. Design: rectangle enclosing diamond lattice with geometric pattern filling lattice and intervening spaces worked with pink cotton a little blue cotton, green, yellowish orange, pale yellow and pale blue wool, black silk and tarnished metal thread (silvered copper wound on linen) in straight stitches. Small sequins were sewed on at regular intervals, some of which have come off. Outside the rectangle is a zig-zag pattern with geometric birds across the top, worked with pink and blue cotton, orange and green wool.
