This redware bowl has slightly convex sides with a slightly flaring straight rim. Approximately one-quarter is broken away and missing. The exterior has a small patch of light, sandy incrustations. There are no inidications of surface treatments.
From Nubia (Sudan) Gebel Barkal. Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
