A medium plate, decorated in black and in two shades of blue. Underneath, the plate bears seven trilobed plant figures drawn in a black line and filled with blue.On the front, the flat, sloping rim is delineated by single dark blue lines, suggestive of a foliate rim, between which is a rock and wave border in black and blue, with light blue incursions at regular intervals. The cavetto and well show four hatayi blossoms around a small central flower. These are outlined in black and colored light blue. Each of the large blossoms is flanked by - and depends from - a curving stalk which is mirrored on the other side of the flower by a curving “wheatsheaf.” In between each of the figures described is a smaller figure of two linked wheatsheaves.
