Sargent, durng the American Revolution; by descent to a later Colonel Winthrop Sargent (d. July 9, 1968); by descent to his sons, Mr. Winthrop Sargent III, Gloucester, Mass., and Mr. E. Rotan Sargent, Bryn Mawr, Penn. who in 1968 lent ito the Museum, December 2, 1968; 1971, gift of Mr. Winthrop Sargent III, Gloucester, Mass., and Mr. E. Rotan Sargent, Bryn Mawr, Penn.
