DescriptionChinese for Export. Elliptical, scalloped gilded rim with acanthus ornament & band of lattice piercing, a dotted flower in brown, gold, or black at each intersection. Garlands & crest in dish, medallion of putti in center after a 1782 egraving by Bartolozzi of a design by Giovanni Battista Cipriani: plate 219, illustration to 'Ornaments' by Michel Angelo Pergolesi (London: 1777-92). Set with 1711-5.41.
