Short dolman; gray-blue ribbed silk embroidered almost solidly in design of flowering stems worked with two shades of gray-blue silk and small jet and cut steel beads; short peplum in back; short standing collar; front edges and neckline trimmed with heavy gray-blue silk cord and tassels; lined with quilted silk; label in neck: “Lewis and Allenby, Cloak Makers to the Queen, Regent Street”.
